**A great opportunity now exists for an experienced Trade Counter Salesperson to join our growing team.**

**About the Role**

This role is responsible for contributing as a member of the branch team to the achievement of sales growth, profit and market share through the sale of product whilst providing outstanding levels of customer service.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Counter sales and enquiries
- Entering sales orders / answering telephone enquiries
- Providing customer quotes, order status updates, lead times etc.
- Picking and packing of orders, cutting material using an up-cut saw
- Operating forklifts for loading / unloading of trucks
- Vetting orders
- Product support to customers.

**About You**
You will be a self-motivated person who enjoys working in a high-performance culture. To be considered applicants **MUST** have:

- experience in a similar role / industry with current forklift licence
- a reliable work history with a good attitude to safety
- medium level computer literacy
- the ability to express yourself clearly and concisely.
