Guitar Tutor

Virtuosi School of music has a position vacant for a guitar teacher to join our fantastic teaching team from Term 4, 2025. Established in 2005, we aim to be one of Australia’s premier resources for providing joyful music education experiences that promote artistic excellence. All of our programs are given in easily accessible, attractive and comfortable spaces that enable maximum musical enjoyment by both participants and teachers alike. The successful applicant will: provide individual tuition to students of all ages and abilities; encourage and prepare students for recitals, examinations and auditions; work as part of a team to achieve the school's goals; and hold a current a "Working with Children" Blue Card. Preference will be given to applicants with: demonstrated teaching experience; demonstrated ability to work successfully in an educational institution as part of a team; and tertiary or other relevant music qualifications. Current hours are for 1 to 2 afternoons/evenings per week at our studios in Kenmore **Job Types**: Part-time, Subcontract Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour **Education**: - High School (Year 12) (preferred) **Experience**: - teaching: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - Working with Children Check (preferred) Work Location: In person
