Gnome Yard Care is looking for a part-time gardener. This role will have the opportunity to transition to a full-time role as the business continues to grow.

This role is ideal for anyone currently studying Horticulture, Parks & Gardens or similar courses.

If you have experience in the garden that is great, but training will be provided. There will be opportunities to advance and continue to learn in this role.

Key Responsibilities
- General garden maintenance; weeding, pruning, hedging
- Garden clean-ups; Clearing, planting, mulching
- Pest control; either through plant care or chemical use

About You
- Enjoys learning - particularly about plants
- Able to work well in a team
- Take pride and responsibility for your work
- Driver’s licence and car (preferred)
- Hold a chemical licence (preferred)
- Experience is not needed, but will be beneficial

About Us

Gnome Yard Care is a garden maintenance business that works primarily in the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie area. We don’t do lawnmowing or arborist work, but instead, focus on creating and maintaining the gardens themselves so that our clients can enjoy them.

**Salary**: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
