**The Role**

The purpose of this role is to satisfactorily perform duties under the direction of the Production Manager in the preparation, manual assembly and/or packaging of sandwiches, wraps and other like products in a chilled environment and undertake other duties within the production department as required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assemble goods as per specification
- Carry out duties as directed by Team Leader and / or Production Manager
- Report any problems to Process Team Leader and/ or Production Manager
- Working as part of a team to ensure only high quality product gets delivered to the customer
- Work within HACCAP guidelines
- Prep ingredients for the days production requirements
- Some heavy lifting required

**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Must be motivated, reliable, punctual and have strong work ethic
- Must have food processing experience, machine operating and knife skills
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
- Ability to work autonomously and a part of a team on a production line
- Good at working to meet daily KPIs without compromising quality or safety
- Good knowledge of safe work practices
- Willingness to participate in a variety of duties within the production department
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation
- Attention to detail with good knowledge retention
