An exciting opportunity to join the International Freight Costing team has become available within the National Supply Chain department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. **This is a 12-month fixed term contract.**

As a Supply Chain Technician, you will support the team in planning, preparing, and processing international freight requirements, ensuring efficient movement of products from our suppliers to our distribution centres. You will be responsible for the accurate analysis of data and information from which you will draw effective recommendations on freight options.

**What does the role look like?**
- Analyse data to assist with preparation of freight metrics
- Liaise with various stakeholders in order to collate information and data
- Prepare and calculate findings to support effective freight options
- Present recommendations to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure efficient flow of incoming and outgoing stakeholder correspondence and information
- Organise and update accurate costing functions and figures in the system for stakeholder use
- Maintain strict confidentiality in regards to details gathered
- Support the National Supply Chain Freight Costing team

**What do we need from you?**
- Demonstrated experience within Supply Chain operations and/or Logistics
- Experience with international freight highly regarded
- Prior experience using SAP and Coupa highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Demonstrated experience in data and information analysis
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel and SharePoint
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to problem solve and present creative solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role reports to the Team Leader - Freight Costing.
