**My Gateway** have 2 exciting opportunities for a Bricklaying apprentice to join a highly reputable Bricklaying and Building company, **Favetti Bricklaying** working on many major projects throughout Sydney.

As part of this apprenticeship you will complete a nationally recognised trade** Certificate III in Bricklaying.**

**Duties include**:

- Site work on commercial and cottage buildings
- Laying bricks and blocks
- Mixing mortar
- Labouring and cleaning site
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Carry out measurements and calculations
- Construct masonry steps and stairs
- Conduct workplace communications
- Operate elevated work platforms and
- Ad hoc tasks relating to the industry
