**Your day to day**
If you'd like to embrace a wider world of experiences and opportunities, we'd like to welcome you to the world's most international luxury hotel brand as an Event Planning Coordinator on a 8 month fixed term contract, a key role in our Events Team focused on supporting the Event Planning Executives to ensure no stone is left unturned in the planning and coordination of our guest’s unique events. Whether its maintain client files, the planning of events under 20 pax or managing client and delegate requests, this role plays an integral part in making the clients vision for their events a reality.

Reporting to the Conference and Events Manager, you will support our Event Planners in managing and coordinating the end to end planning of a variety of events across the Resort; from initial enquiry, quoting, follow-up, event planning and management. In addition from time to time supporting operational delivery, working closely with the banquet operations team post hand over to actively ensure all events come to life seamlessly. Undertaking all with a focus on continuous improvement; not just for their event but with the wider Resort event offering in mind.

You will also monitor competitor practices and strategies in order to understand trends and ensure the Resort’s event product and services are ahead of the competition; giving you the opportunity to have creative input to innovative product development, new revenue and PR opportunities. Monitoring sales goals and maximising event revenues by utilising selling and rate strategies and optimising upsell opportunities will also be a key focus.
