The **Accounts Receivable** team member is responsible for a wide range of AR functions including corporate AR invoicing & receipting, cheque banking, debtor maintenance, reconciliations and queries

Here’s a taster of the **Accounts Receivable** position responsibilities:

- Timely processing of all corporate accounts receivable invoicing.
- Timely receipting/allocating of direct deposits on a daily basis.
- Cheque banking completed on a weekly basis.
- Internal debtors processed in a timely manner.
- Reconciliations of corporate level accounts receivable accounts; mínimal outstanding transactions.
- Produce and distribute monthly statements.
- Follow up outstanding corporate debts in a timely manner.
- Ensure all deadlines are met.
- Communicate effectively with venues and customers, ensuring transfer of knowledge and assisting other team members.
- Ensuring manager is kept fully informed of issues and work progress.
- Assist manager with system integration improvements.

**Qualifications**:
**Now let’s talk about you**:

- 5+ years of accounts receivable experience in a large organisation, particularly with a high volume of transactions.
- Understands basic accounting principles.
- Proven ability in preparing reconciliations and problem solving.
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft excel skills.
- Exposure to accounts payable.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management skills - well organised with the ability to prioritise and work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptable nature.
- A team player, with willingness to show initiative and take on challenges.
- Process improvement mindset.
