**Support Worker Wanted - Join Care Squad**

**About the Role**:
Care Squad is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced **Support Workers** to join our team in providing high-quality support for a vibrant 25-year-old NDIS participant with **Angelman Syndrome, Epilepsy, and an Intellectual Disability**. Care Squad requires **person-centred care**, a **structured routine**, and **skilled behavioural support** to enhance his quality of life.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Provide **personal care** and **medication administration** support (training provided).
Assist clients with **daily routines, mobility, and community engagement**.
Use **sensory and communication strategies** to support the client’s emotional regulation.
Follow **Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) guidelines** to ensure safety and consistency.
Engage in the Client’s favourite activities (music, sensory play, movies, and walks).
Maintain **accurate documentation and incident reporting**.

✔ Experience in **disability support**, **complex care (PEG Feed)**, or **behavioural support**.
✔ Understanding of **restrictive practices and least-restrictive approaches**.
✔ Ability to work **flexible shifts, including weekends and overnights**.
✔ **Strong communication and de-escalation skills**.
✔ First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Manual Handling (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $41.76 - $45.58 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 76 per week

**Experience**:

- Working with Complex Clients: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
- NDIS Screening Check (required)
- Certificate III in Disability or Equivalent (preferred)

Work Authorisation:
