**About the Role**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Participation and In-Home Support Worker to assist clients in achieving their individual goals and enhancing their quality of life. The role involves providing support for community engagement activities and assistance with daily living tasks in a home environment. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, a client-centered approach, and the ability to promote independence while ensuring safety and well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support clients in engaging with community activities, such as attending events, joining clubs, or participating in recreational programs.
- Encourage and facilitate social interactions to reduce isolation and promote a sense of belonging.
- Assist clients in accessing public transport, navigating community spaces, or attending appointments as needed.
- Help clients build and maintain relationships within the community.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene, as required.
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs and preferences are met.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, tidying, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support within the home setting.

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
- Experience in personal care, domestic care, and community access (preferred but not essential)
- **Must be able to speak PUNJABI, as per clients request.**
