**Who are we looking for?**

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Ensure compliance with the Main Roads Safety Management System in the Region
- Provide advice, support, and leadership to Supervisors, Managers, Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SHW) representatives and contractors in SHW matters
- Review and approve contractor Safety Management Plans
- Conduct site audits and inspections of projects and contractors scheduled work activities
- Conduct site implementation of Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)Investigate, review and report on SHW incidents.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- 7 to 15 years of relevant experience
- SHW systems including Safety Management Plans, SWMS etc
- Workplace Health and Safety legislationExperience in auditing and incident investigation.

**Qualifications and experience required**:

- Diploma in Work Health and Safety or equivalent
- Certificate in Lead Investigation (ICAM)
- Internal Auditor certification
- Collecting specimens for alcohol and drug testingConstruction Whtie card

GHD has been appointed by Main Roads Western Australia to deliver a state-wide Operational Asset Management Support Service (AMSS) contract. Under this contract, GHD provides centralised and regional support to assist Main Roads manage and maintain the State Road network.
