**About the role**
In this role you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents and assisting them with daily living activities that meet their individual physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs.
As an **Unqualified or Qualified Personal Care Worker, **the types of support you will provide include:
- Personal care, physical and emotional support to residents who require assistance with daily living, including e.g. mobility assistance to and from activities, meals, social outings and clinical care, medication assistance;
- Participation in the development and review of plans;
- Ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate;
- Maintaining the personal dignity and privacy of all residents;
- Undertaking food handling, preparation, cooking, cleaning, distribution and serving of meals to residents;
- Undertaking and completing tasks as delegated by Registered/Enrolled Nurse.
**About you**
You have a compassionate nature and love being around and caring for seniors. You are a positive individual who works well with others and are happy to support your fellow team members.
Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Aged Care) - **qualified applicants;**:
- Demonstrated solid experience in Aged Care - **qualified applicants;**:
- Current National Police and NDIS Screening check or the ability to obtain.
- Please note, all employees working within our residential and home aged care will need to be fully vaccinated for COVID19. If you have already received your COVID19 vaccinations, we ask that you provide proof as part of the recruitment process._
