**Your Role as a Public Space Cleaner**:
In this physically active, hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas across the Shire. Your tasks will include litter collection, bin servicing, spot cleaning, and operating cleaning equipment in line with Council’s safety and hygiene standards.

**What We’re Looking For**:
You will begin your day early (4am) completing your shift by early afternoon. This start time allows our team to clean high-traffic areas before they get busy, ensuring public spaces are safe, clean, and welcoming from the start of each day.

You’ll be working outdoors in all weather conditions, often independently but always as part of a supportive and community-focused team.

**You’ll need**:

- A valid Class C Driver’s Licence
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or similar roles
- A strong customer service mindset and positive attitude
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and operate equipment
- Basic computer skills for task logging and communication

- **Interview date**:Interviews will be facilitated within 2 weeks of closing
- **Package**:From**$63,360 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation
- **Hours of work**:Temporary full time (up to 6 months) 38 hours per week with a 9 day fortnight over a 7 day spread
