**Description**:
**The role**:

- Head of Tivoli House (Years 7-10 Boarding)
- Start ASAP.
- Full time (permanent or 2-3yr fixed-term).
- Works term-time only (38 weeks per year).
- Paid in full throughout the year (including School Holidays).
- Rent-free on-site accommodation provided (suitable for single person only); meals included.
- Involves weekday, weeknight, overnight, and weekend work (rotating roster).
- Reports to and guided by the Head of Student Residential Life, supported by a team of casual boarding staff.

**Tasks and responsibilities**:

- Manage the administrative and operational running of one of our two boarding houses.

Support and assist boarders in all facets of school and residential life with care, compassion, and consistency.
Help build and facilitate a safe, warm, comfortable, and homely living environment for students.
Develop and maintain open and effective relationships with parents.
Remain committed to child protection and to meeting the ChildSafe program standards.
Actively participate in the life of the School, always promoting our ethos, vision, and values.

**Skills and Experiences**:

- Demonstrated experience in a relevant area (e.g. Boarding, Teaching, Nursing, long-term parental or carer responsibilities).
- Demonstrated understanding of and willingness to support the needs of young women moving through their formative years.
- A naturally warm and personable individual who is invested in enriching the lives of students living away from home.
- Confident, decisive, and accountable.
- Highly skilled in verbal communication and relationship building.
- Understands risk management, duty of care, and WHS.
- Must hold a current driver's license.
