**Join Our Team as a (Voluntary) Puppy Therapy Carers**
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of those in need?
Do you have a love for animals and a desire to help them become therapy companions for individuals facing challenging circumstances? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Voluntary Puppy Therapy Carers. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to train and spend time with 12-week-old puppies who will be trained to provide therapy and support to individuals in domestic violence family crisis, mental health, addiction, and corrections services.
**Responsibilities**:
- Training and socialising 12-week-old puppies to become therapy companions.
- Providing care, exercise, and mental stimulation for the puppies.
- Collaborating with trainers and therapists to ensure the puppies are prepared for their role in therapy services.
- Monitoring and documenting the puppies’ progress and behaviour.
**About You**:
- Passion for animal welfare and therapy work.
- Experience in dog training or animal care is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
