Coffee Roastery Assistant

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Coffee Roastery
Assistant to join our team on a permanent part-time basis (20 hours
per week, Monday to Friday). You will support the Head Coffee Roaster
with day-to-day production tasks including roasting, packing, quality
control, and assisting with administration duties such as customer
communication and invoicing. This role is ideal for someone who loves
coffee, thrives in a hands-on environment, and has strong
organisational and communication skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

Production Support

Assist the Head Roaster in daily roasting operations.

Weigh, pack, and label roasted coffee accurately.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the roastery workspace.

Monitor quality control standards to ensure product consistency.

Administration & Customer Service

Process and issue invoices in Xero.

Assist with order management and fulfillment.

Maintain accurate records of roasting and packing activities.

**General Duties**

Work collaboratively with the roasting team to meet production targets.

Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace health & safety standards.

Perform stock checks and report on inventory levels.

**Skills & Experience**

Previous experience in coffee roasting, hospitality, or food
production (preferred but not essential - training will be provided).

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Basic computer literacy and experience with Xero (or similar
accounting software).

Good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
