**About the Role**
We are seeking an experienced **Manufacturer** to join our growing team. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations, product quality, continuous improvement, and the financial efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

**Your Responsibilities will include**:

- **Supervise and direct production operations**, ensuring on-time scheduling, efficient workflow, and adherence to production targets.
- **Implement process improvements** and explore new manufacturing innovations to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- **Manage stock control**, including raw materials, packaging, and product distribution, ensuring sufficient resources for ongoing production.
- **Coordinate after-sales services** and liaise with the customer service team to maintain customer satisfaction.
- **Maintain strict quality control standards** and enforce Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) policies to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- **Provide detailed production cost structures** and performance reports to management, including analysis of production expenses, waste reduction, and resource allocation.
- **Oversee budget control**, monitor financial performance, and ensure that all manufacturing operations align with budgetary requirements.
- **Lead continuous improvement initiatives**, focusing on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and maximizing profitability.
- **Manage production scheduling**, ensuring all orders are completed on time, meet client specifications, and are within budget.
- **Supervise personnel functions**, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations to ensure a productive and motivated workforce.

**Skills and Experience**
- Relevant AQF Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years’ work experience in the same occupation or closely related or five years’ work experience in the same occupation or closely related
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing equipment, particularly in composites, sheet metal, or window and door systems.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in **staff supervision**, team coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to **manage production flow**, ensure quality assurance, and adhere to safety regulations.
- Experience in **budget management**, financial performance monitoring, and cost control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication, **problem-solving**, and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: $73,200 - $78,000
