**Machine Operators - Steel Distribution**
- Permanent Opportunity
- Day shift - 7am till 3pm - $29.67 per hour
- Afternoon shift - 3pm till 11pm - $35.60 per hour
- Dandenong location

**The Company**
This is an excellent opportunity for you to join one of Australia’s most successful steel distributors They distribute engineering and stainless steel, processed plate and coil throughout Australasia.

Our client focuses on quality, support, training and service and are now embarking on growing their team, looking for Machine Operators to join them.

**Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to**:

- Overhead Crane usage (full training provided)
- Cutting steel to size (training provided on Band Saws)
- Picking stock from pick slips
- Loading and unloading machine with steel
- Loading and unloading trucks - with overhead crane
- Working in a slow paced environment due to the high risk
- Adhering to safe work practices and quality systems
- Refresher training provided every 12-months
- Experience manufacturing industry desirable but not essential
- Confident with manual handling
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- High attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a team player and reliable
- Forklift licence a bonus but not essential
- Must pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing

**Hours and Rate**
Monday to Friday

Day shift - 7am till 3pm - $29.67 per hour

Afternoon shift - 3pm till 11pm - $35.60 per hour
