Accredited Exercise Physiologist

**About the role**

As a **full time**, Exercise Physiologist with Lifecare Homecare you will be providing high-quality treatment to our patients to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes.

Lifecare Homecare provide allied health services to individuals in their home in the **North Metro Perth Region**, with a focus on aged and disability care therefore we are seeking an Exercise Physiologist with an interest in working with the older adult and/or disability demographic. You will work across a variety of case presentations and clients across a defined region providing care for our elderly community in the comfort of their home with our home visiting service.

**In this role you will be **
- Delivering quality exercise physiology services tailored to the individual needs of the client and using a person-centred approach.
- Conducting assessments and management of patients in a community setting in their own home
- Using clinical reasoning, to create and implement appropriate exercise plans, which target the goals of the patient and with a particular focus on achieving functional goals and supporting independent living.
- Liaising with other Allied Health Professionals, GP’s, Surgeon’s, Sports Physician’s, and other Health Care Professionals, as required, within and outside the team, to help provide holistic care to patients.
- Preparing initial reports, progress reports, final reports, or treatment management plans, which meets a standard that complies with the various funding bodies, such as NDIS, DVA, Medicare and HCP Providers

- Professional registration with ESSA
- Experience or interest in Musculoskeletal and community care - Graduates are welcomed to apply
- Driver's license, access to a vehicle and comprehensive car insurance
- Ability to obtain a NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
- Valid Working with Children Check
