Experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper (Sydney-based)

Location: Belrose, NSW
Commitment: Half-day (4 hours) every fortnight
Work Type: Part-Time, on-site occasionally

Description:
We are a small, dynamic company based in Belrose, NSW, seeking an experienced bookkeeper to support our accounting needs. This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time/casual work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare basic financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with Australian tax and accounting standards.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records in Xero.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper.
- Proficient in Xero.
- Strong understanding of GST, BAS preparation, and general bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Must be physically based in Sydney and able to visit our office in Belrose occasionally.
