**THE ROLE**
If you’re an experienced agronomist wanting more for your family or a trainee graduate agronomist (or animal nutritionist) that wants the next step in your career and the $’s to go with it, then we want to hear from you.
Here is an opportunity to be the key agronomy contact for a progressive and leading independent agribusiness, providing rural agricultural supplies and services.
You will provide crop, pasture and soil nutrition recommendations to support the overall business activities by providing sound agronomic advice and support to clients and colleagues.
You will be allowed to create their own path and expand the current client network. There is also the opportunity to explore and expand animal nutrition services if this is also your passion.
**THE COMPANY**
Bowral Co-op is a local, community-based provider of stock feed, rural merchandise and services in the Southern Highlands region of NSW.
Within this region every day will be different with a diverse range of clients from dairy operations, cattle and horse studs, and 100% focused farmers to dynamic off-farm high-net-worth individuals needing your knowledge and trusted guidance.

**THE RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain, develop and grow the existing customer base for agronomy services
- Provide soil testing & reporting service including key recommendations
- Participate in on-farm events and network with relevant farming bodies
- Present to media & attend events as required
- Actively participate in training provided (backed by CRT & Nutrien network), develop new skills and implement new technologies
**THE REQUIREMENTS**
- YOU WANT TO BE SEEN AS AN EXPERT AND BE APPRECIATED
- Degree in Agricultural Science
- Min. 1 - 3 years agronomy or animal nutrition experience
- Good knowledge of crop chemical, fertiliser, seed and general rural products
- Experience in soil testing, water monitoring, and pasture management
- Excellent organisational skills and well-developed interpersonal skills
- Good time management and able to work autonomously
- Display effective communication skills, both written and verbal
