**Salary**: $95,000 plus superannuation
**About You**

**Your Responsibilities**
As a Procurement Specialist at AIS Water, your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing materials for the manufacturing of award-winning chlorine generators and anode production.
- Negotiating complex contracts with key suppliers to secure the most favorable pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Developing procurement strategies to optimize the purchasing process, implementing cost-saving measures, and identifying new opportunities for efficient material sourcing.
- Tracking and managing inventory levels, ensuring materials are available for ongoing projects and adjusting procurement plans based on project demands. This goes beyond routine purchasing tasks by involving continuous market analysis and supplier performance monitoring.
- Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strong relationships to ensure reliability, consistency, and high-quality procured materials.
- Conducting market research on emerging trends in chlorine generation equipment, leveraging new technologies and market shifts to enhance procurement processes.
- Ensuring full compliance with all industry standards and regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
- Collaborating with project management and finance teams to align procurement activities with project timelines, budgets, and objectives, providing input on procurement forecasts based on project pipelines.

**Skills & Qualifications**
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Tertiary qualification in procurement, supply chain management, engineering, or a related technical field, such as Information Technology, Control Systems, or Technical Systems.
- **Technical Background**: demonstrated understanding of technical components, specifications, and materials related to manufacturing processes, particularly in electrolysis technology or similar industries.
- 1+ year of experience in supply chain or procurement within the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment involving technical or high-specification products is a plus.
Pay: Up to $95,000.00 per year
