About the opportunity:
At Mercy Health, each moment, no matter how small, truly matters - and as a Pastoral Carer, reporting to the Service Manager of our Residential Aged Care Home in Templestowe, you’ll make a genuine difference when it’s needed the most.
- Deliver high quality pastoral care for residents, families and staff
- Respond effectively to the diverse spiritual and religious needs of residents
- Promote a contemporary understanding of pastoral and spiritual care with residents, families and staff

What you’ll bring:
You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional resident-centred care.- Experience working in a pastoral care role preferably in an aged care setting- Theological and/or other relevant graduate qualifications- Proficient computer skills- 2 units of Clinical Pastoral Education that may include a specialist focus in Aged Care highly desirable- Ability to lead a Catholic Communion Service.- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
