**What you'll do**

Reporting into a P&C Manager, as the People and Culture Advisor, you will provide accurate, timely and practical HR advice and solutions to support employees and Managers with operational HR matters, this role will encompass operational HR practices and play an important role in progressing HR initiatives, shaping the employee experience and a variety of projects from time to time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Participate in end to end recruitment and selection processes
- Review, update and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and organisational objectives.
- Facilitate the implementation of HR activities through communication and support to line managers.

**Education**
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology or Business discipline preferred.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, preferred.

**Skills and Experience**
- Previous experience in a general human resources role
- Sound knowledge of Australian HR legislation
- Strong initiative and the ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
- A hands on approach and the ability to roll your sleeves up and take ownership.
- Strong desire to drive change and continuous improvement
- Experience in providing advice, guidance and assistance in employee related issues.
- Strong administrative, investigative, analytical and creative problem solving skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, including an ability to manage and prioritze a variety of tasks and responsibilities with conflicting priorities.
- Minimum intermediate level of experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
