**About the Role**
Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, the Deployment Planner's core focus is ensuring effective execution of stock deployment across the country to ensure stock availability for sales.
We are seeking someone with logistics and planning background who will be responsible to manage the deployment of our finished goods inventory in the warehouse network we operate across Australia.
This role plays a key role in our supply chain process, ensuring our customers get the right products at the right time, as well as working with demand planning, supply planning, logistics and imports team to drive accuracy in our supply recovery plan to maintain high service level. It calls on an individual who can build effective relationships, has exceptional attention to detail, communication skills, and not afraid to challenge or influence to get the right outcomes.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Processing stock deployment orders (STOs) in the system - based on requirements in the system or based on orders received, liaising with supply, customer service and imports team to validate availability and requirement
- Plan and assist with logistics execution of the national stock deployment to maintain and/or achieve strong Delivery In Full and On Time (DIFOT)
- Liaise with the logistics team and 3PL partner to ensure dispatch and delivery on time of stock
- Link with 3PL and Import/Export agents when necessary - trouble shooting, enquiries, shipment follow up
- Respond to all customer order delivery dates timely and in a professional manner
- Maintain relationships with customers and/or vendor replenishment planners (VRPs) through professional manner
- Present accurate reporting on timely basis with regards to stock levels, supply & demand and potential OOS to internal & external stakeholders
- Minimise out of stocks through proactive deployment of stock to the DCs
- Relevant degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar highly regarded
- 2 - 3 years' experience in logistics, transport, supply planning processes or similar
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in the FMCG / retail industry
- Strong understanding of replenishment / deployment / supply planning
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, autonomy and proactiveness
- Strong communication, stakeholders, and interpersonal skills
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience with SAP
- Excellent computer skills - advanced Excel skills advantageous
- Attention to detail
- Analytical and interpretation skills
- Working knowledge of Power BI will be a plus
