Banquet Supervisor

Joondalup Resort is seeking passionate experienced Banquet Supervisors to join their Food and Beverage team.

Joondalup Resort is Perth's inspiring conference destination and golf resort 25 minutes North of Perth’s CBD. With award winning facilities both on and off the golf course, Joondalup Resort is a complete leisure, corporate and tourism venue in the northern suburbs of Perth. The Resort is in search of a skilled, dynamic and passionate Banquet Supervisor to lead a large team of Banquet waiters alongside our management team.

This supervisor role, reporting to the Banquet Manager and Assistant Banquet Manager, focuses on ensuring a smooth and quality service delivery is provided to all guests across varying function rooms in the Banquets department.

**Duties will include**:

- Supervise Food and Beverage Outlet teams to ensure immediate, effective and efficient service to customers.
- Communicate and delegate tasks to team members
- Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Serve as a Role Model to staff, treating everyone fairly and equally.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction with service and selected food items
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Demonstrate good knowledge of event spaces and current event activity at all times
- Ensure excellent and professional guest service at all times
- Efficiently setup and pack down event space in a timely manner whilst demonstrating correct manual handling skills
- Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol legislation

- Exceptionally presented and a professional demeanour
- Experience in a large Banquets Operations Venue
- Customer focused with a desire to consistently improve quality
- Ability to cope in fast paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Holds a positive view of teamwork and strives to motivate team and co workers
- Have excellent communication skills
- A valid RSA
- A valid Approved Manager license
- Police check or willing to obtain one
- Self driven whilst able to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- A desire to learn and improve

You will also have at least two years’ experience in a quality establishment.
