**Purpose of the role**:
The Business Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of Zembl’s C&I Energy Consultants. Reporting to the C&I Sales Manager, this role sets individual sales targets to achieve team and organisational sales objectives by incentivising the team to achieve customer growth. You will be an inspirational leader that is adept at monitoring performance and use expert coaching skills to onboard and train sales best practices to be performed by your team. You will have an innovative and continuous improvement mindset to come up with new and exciting strategies to expand the customer base and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

**Type of person suited to this role**:
This role suits an individual that is confident in building high-performance teams through coaching and innovative sales approaches. Ideally you will have:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- A minimum of 3 years experience in both opening and closing customer sales
- A minimum of 2 years managing a team of Account Executives in a B2B environment, or similar
- Experience in Salesforce is preferred
- Expert knowledge in sales best practises
- Results driven
- Ability to provide constructive feedback, coaching and mentorship
- Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic sales environment
- Customer-centric approach to ensure exceptional experiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Adept at building rapport and establishing long-term customer relationships
- Familiarity with B2B products, services, and the ability to consultatively sell energy products to customers
- Robust organisational skills and the ability to manage several deadlines consecutively to meet targets
- Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets and goals

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Lead & inspire the team of Commercial Energy Consultants to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Work closely with the Sales Leadership team and Marketing team to identify and pursue new opportunities, including prospecting and lead generation
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment through effective communication, coaching, and mentorship
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends
- Collaborate with the team to understand client needs, provide tailored solutions, negotiate and complete energy contracts, and address any issues promptly
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth within the commercial and industrial energy market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners
- Analyse sales data and prepare regular reports to evaluate team performance and promptly identify areas for improvement.
- Make data-driven decisions to optimise sales strategies and enhance overall team effectiveness
- Staying updated on industry trends and competitor activities, integrating knowledge into strategies
- Effectively manage and update sales pipelines, track progress, and provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and achievements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:
