**About the role**
- This full-time, fixed-term apprenticeship is based at the beautiful Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Garden in Batemans Bay. It’s a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in horticulture, gaining hands-on experience and formal qualifications in nursery operations and plant conservation. You’ll undertake a Certificate III in Nursery Operations through a Registered Training Organisation, with training delivered via a mix of on-the-job and off-the-job learning and will involve travelling to Sydney to attend block release training.
- The starting salary for this position is $1,391.57 plus 12% superannuation and is dependent on the age of the employee on commencement.

** About you**
- You have a minimum year 10 level certificate or equivalent and a strong interest in plants and the environment, and ready to commit to a rewarding apprenticeship.- You also possess:

- Ability to safely use and learn basic electrical and mechanical tools.
- Ability and willingness to work harmoniously in a team environment.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Fitness and ability to complete physical labouring tasks.
- Commitment and ability to successfully complete the practical and theoretical components of the apprenticeship, and ability and willingness to undertake additional training as required.-
