2026 position available for 12 months for a Neuroimmunology Fellow in the CAR-T Cell Therapy program.

This role has the key responsibility for co-ordinating and participating in the care of in-patients receiving CAR-T-cell therapies under the Alfred Cancer/ Haematology Unit. The fellow will work closely with the Neuroimmunology CAR-T-cell consultant and the responsible Haematology Team. The fellow will be integrated into the MS and Neuroimmunology service and gain subspecialty training in these fields.
The appointee must be a legally qualified medical practitioner, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Appointees during their final year of advanced training in Neurology will be considered. Alternatively, appointees can be registered Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in Neurology, Immunology, or preferably in Neuroimmunology, is required. Experience in teaching and involvement in research is desirable.
