Backed by an unprecedented $3.8 billion investment in response to the findings of the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Division in the Department of Health is embarking on the ambitious policy challenge of reshaping the mental health system in Victoria to reshape the scope and the way mental health services are delivered in Victoria.
The Manager, Architecture will lead a team to establish system-wide governance and innovation within the new mental health and wellbeing system, including setting up the new Mental Health and Wellbeing Commission and the Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing.

- Skilled in system design and policy development with a proven track record of delivering quality outcomes?
- Experienced at building and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders and communities?
- Experienced at developing and delivering complex projects at pace?

Accountabilities
- Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including:
a) Researching, preparing and executing project business cases and plans within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
b) Preparing and presenting quality reports and work briefings in accordance with the department's project management processes.
c) Evaluating tender bids and participating in liaison and negotiation associated with tender processes.
d) Contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.
- Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Identify emerging issues, risk and trends impacting on the successful achievement of key business objectives and imperatives and provide high quality business intelligence and sound recommendations based on comprehensive research and investigations.
- Formulate compliance and evaluation strategies to address specific issues related to the effective provision and implementation of required outcomes.
