**About DMI Psychology**:
We are an NDIS supports provider, offering psychological and behaviour support services to people living with a disability in Sydney. We provide 1) positive behaviour supports, 2) psychological, psychosocial, functional and diagnostic assessments, and 3) individual and group therapy with NDIS Participants, their families, and primary support networks.

**About the Opportunity**:
We have exciting opportunities for **behaviour support practitioners** to join our team. This is a semi-flexible full-time position across the week.
Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager (Senior Psychologist & Behaviour Specialist) this role comes with a diverse and rewarding caseload for ages across the life span.
Depending on your qualifications, your duties will include behaviour assessments and interventions, psychological assessments and therapies, development of psychosocial reports and behaviour support plans, and consultancy to clients and other professionals. The position will require providing services to clients in their usual environments, such as their home, schools, day program, and other community locations.
You will work collaboratively with all of a person’s primary support network, providing psychoeducation, training, consultancy and skills development designed as a positive approach to mental health and behaviour support.
**About You**:
To be considered for this position you will be registered as a psychologist or other allied health professional with AHPRA, or be registered with a relevant professional organisation (e.g., AASW - social workers).
You are a motivated and ambitious individual, who is outcomes focussed and can manage a caseload of clients independently. You will utilise your skills in assessments, case formulation, intervention and report writing, to support your clients on the NDIS. Your proactivity in self-learning and expansion of clinical knowledge and skills, will be a great asset to success in this role.

**Please Note**: Prior to commencement, you will need to undergo (and pass) the NDIS Worker Screening and have a valid WWC check. You will also require your own vehicle with comprehensive insurance cover, a current Driver’s licence, and any mandatory training modules stipulated by the NDIS.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Relevant undergraduate qualifications in psychology or relevant discipline
- Registration as psychologist or allied health professional with AHPRA, or other relevant professional organisation
- Experience in working with persons living with a disability, and in using a collaborative approach to provide multi-level supports
- Demonstrated skills in assessment and case formulation
- Demonstrated skills in report writing
- Demonstrated skills in intervention planning, implementation and evaluation
- Experience in a position requiring communication with a range of professionals, families and stakeholders
- Quick learner with motivation and drive to keep expanding knowledge and skills
- Current driver’s license and willingness to drive/conduct home or community visits
- Working with Children’s Check and willingness to undergo NDIS Worker Screening process (requirement to work in NDIS)

- Experience in, or knowledge of positive behaviour support framework
- Experience in preparing and implementing positive behaviour support plans
- Knowledge of, and commitment to, positive approaches to behaviour support
- Understanding functional behaviour assessments, and development and implementation of Behaviour Support Plans
- Good time management and workload organisation
- Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload

Clinical supervision will be provided by an APHRA approved and endorsed clinical supervisor on a monthly basis.
$1000 CPD stipend per year (full-time, pro rata).
