Are you an experienced early learning professional who’s ready to take their career to the next level, honing leadership skills and helping to build a successful business?
As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Glebe, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation. You will work in collaboration with your centre leadership team and establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.
**In this role, you will**:
Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and care
Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director’s absence
Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

At Goodstart Glebe, we have a dynamic team of over 20 educators, both full-time and part-time, and we boast more than the required number of Early Childhood Teachers (ECTs), which makes for a well-rounded and experienced leadership team. Our centre can cater to up to 68 children each day across four rooms.
Opened just three years ago, many of our current staff have been with us for over two years, with some being part of the original opening team. We are currently looking to fill the role of Assistant Director, which will be a floating position designed to provide support to all rooms within the centre.

If you have previous experience as an Assistant Director or in a centre leadership position, or similar, then we’d love to talk to you about which of our amazing opportunities would be the best fit for you.
**You’ll need**:
A Diploma or bachelor’s in early childhood education
Hold a current NSW Working with Vulnerable People Check, or be willing to obtain one
Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage
Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management
