**Role Overview**:
The Support Worker (Home Care) - Community Aged Care role will be working closely with UnitingSA’s clients in home, supporting them with their day to day living, allowing clients to maintain independence whilst living their best lives in the comfort of home.

Working to client care plans, you will be offering domestic assistance with tasks providing a safe and secure environment for your clients.

This role suits individuals that may not have a Certificate III qualification but can offer a caring, empathetic demeanor that will enjoy building a strong relationship for those living independently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Domestic / social assistance:

- Assistance with shopping
- Gardening
- Transportation
- Assistance with cooking
- Organising outings
- Documenting client information through an Allied Health mobile app
- Logging any safety concerns and communicating accordingly

**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Previous home care experience is highly desired
- Own and use of a smartphone
- SA Driver’s License with own reliable vehicle
- First Aid / CPR Certificate (desirable)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current National Police Clearance
