Reporting to the Managing Director, this position will be responsible for:
- Preparation of weekly cash flow forecast
- Ensure all financial reporting obligations are met including updating of invoice register
- Management of payroll and associated payroll obligations
- Administer and manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations
- Responsible for ensuring all customer invoicing is completed to the required standard and in a timely manner after the projects are completed
- Financial management of projects including budgets and monitoring budget performance in integrated management software
- Other adhoc requests and duties
**The Successful Applicant**:
To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate your ability in the following key criteria:
- Bachelor in business / Finance with previous experience in a similar role in a construction environment
- Bookkeeping experience or background, with minimum 3 year's experience of using Xero and data entry
- Ability to prioritise, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
- Able to work individually demonstrating initiative, but also willing and capable to work as part of a team
- Proven experience and tendency to want to create and improve systems and processes
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of contractual terms
