**About the Role**

Due to the growth of our Day Options program, there are multiple casual roles available at our Panorama site. Shifts for these roles are offered Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 3.30pm. This is a rewarding and varied role with a focus on supporting our clients to achieve their goals in a fun and encouraging environment. Activities our clients enjoy include; going to the movies, dancing, swimming, pottery, arts and crafts, volunteering at the RSPCA, and fortnightly Bunnings workshops just to name a few.

Other responsibilities include:

- Providing 1:1 or 1:3 support
- Support clients to achieve their NDIS goals
- Completing progress reports and reporting incidents
- Working with clients to promote individual choice and control
- Provide transport to clients as required
- Maintain a duty of care for clients, other staff, and yourself

**About You**

You will be an experienced and qualified support worker with knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct and Quality and Safeguarding Framework. You will have a genuine passion for working with people with disability to achieve their goals, and if you have a hobby, skill, or talent we would be keen for you to share that with our clients.

Other skills and qualifications include:

- Minimum Cert III in Disability (or equivalent)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current driver’s licence
- Strong written and verbal skills
- An ability to ‘do with and not for’

For this role the following documents must be provided prior to a formal offer of employment with Bedford Phoenix Incorporated.
- An acceptable clearance to work in the disability sector (DHS / DCSI / NDIS)
- A National Police Clearance (no older than six months old)
- Evidence of right to work in Australia
- Evidence of full vaccination (x3) with a TGA-approved COVID-19 vaccine or an acceptable exemption
