**Opportunity**

WEM Civil has a rewarding opportunity for **Compactor Operators** to join the team.

We have a strong portfolio of projects currently underway across Sydney's Northwest and Southwest, as well as the Hunter and Illawarra regions. This role will require travel to job sites, located within these regions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Trimble GPS**: Proficient in using GPS systems for precision work.
- ** Compaction Knowledge**: Understanding the principles of compaction for effective results.
- ** Machine Maintenance**: Conduct daily maintenance checks, including oil levels and greasing.
- ** Clean & Tidy Equipment**: Ensure the machine is kept clean and well-organised at all times.
- ** Assist with other site duties as needed to ensure project timelines are met**.**

**We Are Looking for Someone Who Has**:

- Demonstrated experience operating compactors, with any experience in the civil construction industry being highly valued.
- Understanding of machinery operations within the civil construction industry
- Capability to perform daily maintenance and servicing of machinery
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
- A construction white card
- Valid Driver’s Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
- Strong commitment to health, safety, environment and quality standards
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
- Ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision
