Animal Attendant

Pet Resorts Australia provide first class accommodation and services for cats and dogs, priding ourselves in quality customer care. We also offer pet transport along with several other great services.

Our fantastic team is on the search for hardworking and passionate individuals to join our very successful team.

The position will be not limited to;
Cleaning animal enclosures, exercising and providing enrichment and husbandry for animals (primarily dogs and cats), feeding and general care for the animals, driving pet transport vans and office duties to name a few.

Available vacancies at this time are as follows:
Diverse position - Kennel Technician / Reception / Pet Transport, casual position - You must be available to work a 7-day rotating roster including weekends and throughout every NSW school holiday period.

Essential pre-requisites for these roles are:
Superior customer service skills

12 months or more of experience within an animal related industry

Current manual driver's license and demonstrated experience

Commitment to work weekends and holiday periods (inc. Xmas day and New Year)

Full Australian working rights

Desirable skills and experience include:
Qualification in Companion Animal Services (or similar) OR large animal/farm experience

Dog training and behavioural knowledge

Excellent face to face and written communication skills

Ability or scope to learn reservation programs

Confident driving a manual transport van around the city

Aptitude for training and learning

Ability to perform unsupervised as well as part of a team
