**About the store**

Kings Langley Discount Drug Store is a dynamic, contemporary pharmacy with a focus on Customer Service and always putting the "Customer first", we deliver trustworthy and modern healthcare advice to our local community.

**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking **two (2) Permanent Pharmacy Assistants** who are highly motivated, reliable, confident, professional, friendly and loyal to join the team on a Full Time basis. Hours of Work are **38 hours a week**. Applicant must be available for rostering on weekdays and weekends.

**A Pharmacy Assistants number one focus will be to deliver a high level of customer service** and professional and confidential advice on retail and non-prescription items such as infant care, wound and skin care, cough and cold medication and beauty items. A Pharmacy Assistant will request extended advice from the Pharmacist when required.

**Other duties include**:

- Point of sale operation and cash handling
- Participating in stock rotation, face up displays and expiry date management and merchandising activities
- Accepting prescriptions for processing by our pharmacist team
- Maintaining a clean and presentable store
- Assist with the preparation of displays for catalogue promotions
- Complete planograms and ensuring all price tickets are displayed correctly
- Assisting customers with general queries
- Recommending vitamins and natural health care products
- Completing online product training modules & attendance at monthly staff meetings.
- Always work within QCPP standards and follow all Health and Safety legislation

**Skills & Experience**:

- Retail experience preferred
- Positive attitude, reliable and hardworking ethic
- Basic computer skills
- A strong commitment to learning and sharing knowledge in a team focused environment.
- Full-time preferred with flexibility and weekend availability an advantage

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
