Apprentice Pastrycook

Due to continued growth, Miami Bakehouse has a position available for an Apprentice Baker/Pastrycook.

Miami Bakehouse is one of only a few bakeries that teach both bread and pastry cooking as a combined apprenticeship. Based in Mandurah, this apprenticeship is 3 years long and offers great hands on experience in an enjoyable working environment where you will learn all the skills to make a broad range of skills cakes, savouries and bread.

This is a full time position, 4 days at work and 1 day at Tafe. Full availability is essential including weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

The successful applicant will have:

- A passion for cooking / baking
- Availability to work between 8am -11pm including weekends & public holidays
- A keen eye for detail
- Excellent maths and communication (verbal and written) skills
- A positive attitude towards learning and taking instruction
- High levels of fitness and strength
- Reliable transport to get to and from the workplace and Tafe (Bentley Campus)

**Salary**: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
