An exciting opportunity is now available for an Inventory Planner at Meir Australia Pty Ltd.

The key purpose of this role is to ensure we maximise sales and profitability by having the right stock in the right place at the right time, whilst keeping our stock holding to a minimum. Your analysis will provide insight into our customer’s buying trends, and you will play a pivotal role in planning our purchasing to ensure our stock levels support these trends.

**Overview of Responsibility**:
Reporting to the Inventory Manager you will be responsible for:

- Management of Item Master & Pricing
- Creation of and maintenance of SKU’s in ERP (Dear Inventory)
- Analysis of inventory movements and preparation of reports for management
- Planning and coordination of stock movements between markets, suppliers and the warehouse
- Accurate Demand Planning in line with sales budgets, with a target of +90% DIFOT via sea freight
- Forecasting, Planning and coordination of monthly stock purchasing requirements across markets
- Coordination of Shared MOQ between Markets
- Confirming Supplier PI’s and monitoring orders through to shipment and delivery
- Working alongside the operations team to plan and consolidate shipments to achieve DIFOT targets
- Working with the warehouse to complete regular cycle counts, stocktakes and investigation of discrepancies.
- Stock Adjustments / Transfers / Stocktakes and entry of these in our ERP

**About You**:

- You will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role, and be able to display the skills required for the position
- You have Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and are always looking for new ways to manage and analyse data.
- Highly analytical, you are results driven and are comfortable using data to support planning decisions.
- You can work independently, whilst also enjoying a team working environment
- Experience with Dear Inventory and G Suite will be considered favourably
