**THE ROLE**

**Be the Connection Between Planning and Delivery in Victoria’s Gas Network**

Are you passionate about customer service, infrastructure, and planning excellence? Join Downer’s Gas Networks team in our **Derrimut Depot**as a **Customer Project Consultant**and play a vital role in connecting communities through gas infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting the delivery of capital works across the Northern Corridor - Metro region.

In this role, you’ll coordinate and support the end-to-end delivery of customer gas connections and capital works. You’ll use your field conditions and planning processes knowledge to guide and advise internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strong communication, accuracy, and safety throughout each project.
- Some of the key responsibilities include: _
- Coordinate with developers, builders, client representatives, and subcontractors to manage project requirements and timelines effectively.
- Coordinate documentation and compliance tasks using SAP, mobility tools, and other digital platforms.
- Validate contractor invoices, monitor WIP, and support reporting and estimating activities.
- Provide technical advice and customer service to stakeholders, addressing enquiries and complaints promptly.

**ABOUT YOU**

You’re an organised, customer-focused professional with a **proven track record**in coordinating field-based infrastructure or service projects. You thrive in dynamic environments, can juggle multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

**You will bring**:

- Practical knowledge of gas distribution systems and/or capital works coordination.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency using SAP, Excel, SharePoint, and mobile field force software.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- A passion for safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
