Within Western Australia our Mining & Resources Division delivers engineering and construction projects for our key Tier 1 iron ore producing clients, which enables them to sustain and expand their mining operations throughout the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. As a trusted partner to the WA resource sector, Calibre is integrated in our Client’s Major Projects which enables up to go above and beyond and succeed together with our clients.

**The Role**:

- Assist with the cost control function including project control reporting
- Review and consolidate project data, update and monitor cost curves and perform scheduling when required
- Support project reporting and package engineers on cost status inquiries and reports
- Track and analyse all costs across the business, consistently conducting regular reviews and audits
- Review and adjust project control guidelines, procedures, and reports
- Provide accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed

We’re looking for someone who can deliver positive planning and cost outcomes, utilising best practises and collaborative methods. We’re also looking for;
- Experience working in a mining & resource environment
- Knowledgeable in earned value management (EVM) principles
- Previous experience in controlling package cost from a portfolio type project environment
- Team player, strong forecasting and change management skills and expert communication both verbal and written
- Ideally a tertiary qualification in Finance, Business Management and/or relevant discipline
