**Overview**:
- The **Cement Repairman A** in the Cement Division of the Titan America Pennsuco Plant in Medley, Florida. This wage non-exempt position is assigned to the Maintenance Department and will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.**Responsibilities**:
**_Job Responsibilities: _**
- Perform all required safety checks and follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Provide mechanical maintenance, including repairs, lubrication, welding, alignment and any necessary functions to operate.
- Repair, maintain and lubricates engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor system and production machines as necessary.
- Inspect used parts to determine change in dimensional requirements.
- Operate light mobile equipment such as forklifts, overhead crane and portable welding machine.
- Report equipment breakdowns to generate work orders.
- Communicate over a two-way radio.
- Must work during kiln outage.
- Keep the equipment being operated, clean and safe.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
**Qualifications**:
- Safety-minded.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to understand and follow the oral and written instructions to carry out repair orders.
- Ability to maintain basic records for repair work done.
- Ability to perform assigned tasks properly and in a timely manner.
- Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and of related safety practices.
- Knowledge of principles and practices used to diagnose equipment problems (by use of computerized test equipment where applicable).
- Ability to read and understand technical service manuals.
- Must be able to enter and retrieve data from a computer.
- Must be able to operate mobile cranes (certification is required, Titan will offer certification upon satisfactory completion of training).
- Maintain a current Florida Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Capable of working in confined spaces.
- Must be able to work overtime, weekends, on-call duties and beeper when necessary.
- Able to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk or hear.
- G-3 welding certification.
- Must be able to perform heavy work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally; and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently; and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Shift:_**
- Maintenance Schedule: This is a fixed schedule generally 7AM-3:30PM. The company reserves the right to change the schedule as needed. Employee must be willing and able to work overtime, participate in an on-call program and willing to work the afternoon schedule on a rotating basis and weekends._
