Cook Medical is looking to employ a high achieving, energetic and ambitious person in a
**12-month fixed term contrac**t. Reporting to the Regional Business Manager - Vascular, the purpose of this role is to assist the Vascular Sales Team to achieve and exceed sales targets within nominated accounts within Sydney and ACT, through the development of positive customer relationships, which build customer confidence and loyalty in Cook Medical as a preferred supplier.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Territory Managers to sell and support devices to allocated Tier 1 accounts within designated territory where required and as per the needs of the Division
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to be most recommended Vascular partner
- Work in partnership with the Strategic Account Management team and relevant Territory Managers to pursue tender/contract opportunities
- Collaborate with the Programs team in conjunction with Territory Managers to identify local in-service education resource needs for customers
- Collaborate with Territory Managers within the Division to ensure the promotion and support of all relevant programs
- Assist Territory Managers to demonstrate effective consignment management
- Provide procedural and product support as required by the allocated program
- Attend procedures in a clinical setting where there is ionizing radiation (x-ray)
- Research customer needs to identify sales opportunities
- Analyse financial reports to identify business opportunities and risks
- Assist Territory Managers where required to conduct sales activity in a manner which develops customer confidence and improves patient outcomes
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively
- Identify, coordinate and deliver customer in-service educations sessions to support the appropriate use of Cook products

Qualifications:

- Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Clinical related field desirable (Eg: Nursing)
- Experience in sales, marketing and/or business management in the medical device industry desirable
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Work, PowerPoint) essential
- Satisfactory police check essential
- WWC (Working with Children) certificate or the ability to obtain one essential
- Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination status and ability to maintain that status relevant to territory essential
