The Salvation Army Employment Plus is currently going through an exciting time as we prepare to commence the new Workforce Australia contract.

About the role:

- Proactively establish and maintain positive ongoing relationships with local employers
- Take time to understand our employers’ business, their employment needs and identify vacancy opportunities
- Engage participants who are job ready to make the most of employment opportunities presented
- Match employers with the right participants to achieve sustainable employment outcomes

About you:

- Previous successful commercial recruitment experience
- Confidence in cold calling and approaching potential clients
- Demonstrated success in proactive business development
- Excellent time management skills
- Proven relationship management skills
- Well-developed negotiation and conflict management skills
- Demonstrated success in growing relationships from small beginnings
- Experience in a challenging KPI environment within a competitive industry

A current Working with Children Check or relevant state equivalent is a mandatory requirement for our positions. Successful applicants will be required to undertake a police check, it is not mandatory to have a clear criminal history.
