Apprentice Carpenter

About the Role:
We are seeking motivated Apprentice Carpenters to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about carpentry and eager to develop hands-on skills in the trade. You will assist our experienced team on-site and gain valuable experience in all aspects of framing, lockup, and fixing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cut and prepare materials to required measurements
- Use a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Operate a circular saw with confidence
- Assist with wall framing and nailing
- Perform basic carpentry tasks under supervision
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures at all times

**Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and materials
- Familiarity with using a circular saw and nail gun
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for carpentry

Preferred:

- Prior experience in construction or carpentry (even informal)
- Own basic tools and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- White Card (Construction Induction Card) or willingness to obtain one

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $23.50 - $51.34 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 55 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus
- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Donnybrook VIC 3064: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:
