Apprentice Master

**The Role & Project**

Are you a talented
**Apprentice Master** seeking an opportunity to work in a dynamic business that puts “People First” The MACA Apprentice Master will form an integral part of the MACA Apprenticeship Program and primarily engage with apprentices on site to support and mentor through progressively more difficult tasks until the apprentice is ready to work independently. You will work a regular (4+3 - 5+2) roster moving between our sites across WA, currently standing at over 20 locations.

**You will**:

- Design and manage training and assessment tools that comply with legislative and industry requirements
- Guide and mentor apprentices to enable them to successfully complete their apprenticeship
- Implement MACA apprenticeship training plans including logbooks and assessments
- Ensure that apprentices are rotated across sites and disciplines to increase the apprentice’s exposure to all relevant skill sets
- Identify and address apprentices who are having difficulty with progressing in their practical or formal learning activities

**Specific to this role**:

- Trade qualified with experience in mining and/or construction industry
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment ( or progression towards achievement)
- Experience working with a mid to large tier employer in resources/construction sector
- Understanding of RTO and competency frameworks
- Has good knowledge of Apprenticeship legislation and policies
