**Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence and community impact?**

**We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Scheduling and Capacity Planning Manager to lead our scheduling workforce across Queensland and drive optimisation in workforce allocation to ensure our clients receive timely and high-quality care.**

**Your Role**

A key responsibility for the role will be to provide leadership to a centralised, dedicated team of schedulers ensuring efficient, client-focused service scheduling while maintaining workforce sustainability and service coverage.

You will also be responsible for the ongoing strategic review and planning of workforce capacity, viability and capability to inform organisational strategic decision-making and operational efficiency relating to service delivery.
- As a Scheduling and Capacity Planning Manager you will: _
- Oversee client service scheduling across all regions to ensure timely, client-centred service delivery.
- Drive staff productivity through continuous improvement and digitisation of scheduling practices.
- Develop, maintain and report on capacity models and workforce planning tools to support recruitment forecasting and optimal resource utilisation
- Lead and coach Scheduling Team Leads and their regional teams.
- Facilitate collaboration between Scheduling and local teams, particularly around supporting business objectives to expand and/or shrink geographic footprint and service mix.
- Foster a culture of responsiveness, accuracy and professional integrity in scheduling practices.
- Ensure compliance with Ozcare's Enterprise Agreement, aged care service requirements, and relevant legislation.
- Uphold privacy and confidentiality of all scheduling, client, and workforce data.
- Monitor scheduling-related risks, such as missed visits or overscheduling, and implement corrective measures.
- Analyse scheduling data and outcomes to ensure efficient and cost-effective business operations.Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies

**For Success you need to**:

- Experience managing rostering and workforce capacity planning functions, ideally in service-based industry.
- Ability to balance client preferences with operational requirements, industrial award obligations, and real-world workforce constraints.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and act on data trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite; a high-level understanding of client management and rostering system is preferred.
- Proven leadership and coaching skills across distributed or multi-site teams.
- Clear and professional communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in identifying and mitigating scheduling or workforce-related risks.Capacity to work under pressure, manage competing demands, and deliver timely results.
