The role of Building Assistant requires a highly motivated, hands on person who has the technical capability and skill to assist in the construction of various stages of each project.

Duties include
- Assisting the builder with carpentry works including framing, Fixing Lock up and joinery repairs
- Assisting with landscape retaining walls, planter boxes and site maintenance
- Conducting maintenance of homes this may include works such as touch up painting, plastering and carpentry
- Cleaning and tidying construction sites in preparation for the next stage of construction
- Ensuring all works completed comply with the Building Code Australia Site supervision
- Overseeing the works by trades on site and reporting to the site supervisor Providing adhoc assistance to other trades if required
- Delivering materials to site
- Ensuring the site is accessible to trades

Reporting Relationships:
Education and experience
- Must have a valid Australian drivers license
- Must have a basic knowledge of using hand tools and power tools

- Ability to solve problems
- Able to work autonomously and as a team Time management
- Attention to detail

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
