PEER is a not-for-profit industry-based Group Training Organisation (GTO) and a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in the construction industry. PEER employs over 400 GTO Apprentices & provides trade school training to another 600 of the highest quality private apprentices. PEER also works closely with over 75 South Australian High Schools to deliver Cert II qualifications to 500 Yr 11 and 12 VET Students.

**About the Opportunity**
We are currently experiencing a high level of growth and are looking for Trainers and Assessors with a plumbing background. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is essential for this particular recruitment drive. Applicants who are currently completing the above qualification are also encouraged to apply.
The core responsibility of the positions is to deliver trade based training and upskilling courses which includes providing training, guidance, mentoring and coaching to PEER students, apprentices and PEER industry based clients.
**Other responsibilities include**:
- Developing resources and continuous improvement of training material
- Developing and maintaining industry relationships and partnerships
- Achieving business unit KPI's, in line with PEER strategic objectives
- Delivering the highest level of customer service
- Contributing to the provision of a safe working environment
**Skills and experience**:
Required
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment Cert IV (TAE40116), or currently completing
- Current trade qualification
- Current industry licence /registration
- Demonstrated current vocational experience
- Excellent computer skills
- Working with Children & National Police Checks.
- Proven track record in inspiring, supporting, motivating people and fostering a positive, creative and rewarding culture.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and have experience working within a quality standards framework environment.
- Ability to provide Covid Vaccination Certificate
Desirable
- Experience within the Vocation Education and Training (VET) industry.
- Working knowledge of LMS and training administrative systems
- Demonstrated current vocational experience
